At Road’s End…
The night was so beautiful,
But morning woke with a sigh.
My heart got sunk,
And moist is the eye.
My life would change forever,
Because life without you,
I thought never.
All the joy came like a wind,
Swept all away from me,
Leaving me stand alone,
At road’s end.
I now see no path,
And a way to mend.
I hope God is with me,
Will make up for this loss.
Somewhere in the future,
Our roads may cross.
I thank God for ,
The moments we shared.
The moments together,
We loved and cared…
